Nogard visualising activity

Today the children created 'Nogards' just by hearing about what they looked like.  They were asked to draw them based on instructions that were read to them.

Lorax reading group

The Lorax reading group had just read a story about Korean children coming to New Zealand. Once the session was over they discussed in their group some of the differences that there are between Korea and NZ

The Room 8 animals

The children were all given an animal name, they had to find their animal partner using only the sound the animal makes. Lots of fun.

Room 8's class treaty

The children created a treaty for the classroom. They all suggested rules that we could work with for the year, and signed their hands alongside it.
