Technology Challenge

For our school wide technology challenge we decided to make a pulley that would raise a flag up a flag pole. We discussed what our brief was and what specifications were needed before embarking on our design process.  I am very impressed with the designs that Room 8 has come up with. We have some very inventive students!!

Generation's morning

What an amazing morning! A huge thank you to all parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and family friends who were involved in making today such a brilliant success.  Room 8 learnt so many things about the past, so wonderful of you all to share your stories with us.

What's your favourite?

We have been doing Statistics in Maths.  The children have all come up with a question that they would like to investigate and are collecting the data they need to create their graphs

Mathletics Champion

James won the Mathletics trophy on Friday for getting more points in Mathletics than anyone else in the whole school.  He got 101,600 points, all of which he accumulated one week. Well done James!

The Room 8 animals

The children were all given an animal name, they had to find their animal partner using only the sound the animal makes. Lots of fun.
